About FOIH

Friends of Indian Heights is a group that is interested in preserving Indian Heights Park and Thompson Mill Race Park in Rochester, Minnesota so that they remain natural areas that we can all enjoy.

We also hope to foster a conversation about what we, as neighbors, can do to help maintain the current Park environment to keep one of Minnesota's few remaining Savanna areas thriving.

Indian Heights Park Area Wildlife

These are some of the many native species living in or near Indian Heights Park.   Where species were identified the identifier is listed (e.g., Jamie Edwards (DNR), Joel Dunnette (Audubon) and Jacob Ryg (City Forester)
